　　conversation: 谈话

　　start a conversation: 开始聊天

　　start/have a conversation with sb 和某人聊天

　　small talk: 闲聊，闲谈

　　They made a small talk while waiting for the meeting to start.

　　在等待会议开始的时候，他们闲聊了一会。

　　chat: 聊天

　　Wechat: 微信

　　chat show: 脱口秀，同 talk show

　　I had a chat with John. 我和约翰聊了一会天。

　　I had a date with John. 我和约翰有个约会。

　　chat 和small talk的区别：

　　chat聊天话题没有禁忌

　　small talk只能是聊无关痛痒的话题

　　theatre: 剧场，戏院

　　go to theatre: 去看戏

　　go to the cinema=see a movie 看电影

　　watch TV: 看电视

　　take/have a seat 坐下，就坐

　　seat着重强调位置，一般不移动的，座位;chair椅子
